Pre-Conference Activities

The Planning Committee is excited to announce the following pre-conference activities. Pre-conference sessions should be registered for at the same time that you register for the conference. If you are only attending a pre-conference workshop you may register at any time. Continuing education credits are expected to be available for most pre-conference sessions. Please note that some sessions are being held on the University of Maryland College Park, campus while others are located at the FDA White Oak Building. Details on transportation, etc. are available on the accommodations page.

PLEASE NOTE: The following courses were cancelled due to low enrollment. Deployment, Medical Errors and Physical Activity Servant Leadership was relocated from the School of Public Health to Stamp. Basic Tobacco was relocated from FDA to Stamp.

Details on All Pre-Conference Sessions

Each workshop, with the exception of Basic Life Support, must have a minimum of 20 pre-registered attendees by May 20 in order to go forward. If a class is cancelled, full refunds will be given to all pre-registered attendees.

The Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization. All donations are fully tax-deductible as charitable donations for income tax purposes. Donations are recognized at the annual Public Health Symposium and in the newsletter Frontline.
