"Having a career with the Commissioned Corps has been really fulfilling for me. By donating I am further contributing to advancing the public health of the nation and also hopefully giving officers after me (5-20 years down the road) the chance to have a career in the Corps. I like what the Foundation stands for and hope to contribute in the future." - LT Omobogie Amadasu, P.E.
In 1798, President Johns Adams signed into law the Act for the Relief of Sick and Disabled Seamen. It was the seed of what grew into today's strong U.S. Public Health Service Commissioned Corps.
Members of the John Adams Society decided to plant their own seeds by supporting the growth of the PHS Commissioned Officers Foundation. They chose to bequeath funds to the Foundation. You can join the John Adams Society as well. Click here for information on planned giving options.
